Integer/Lake Region Medical - Chemical Resistant Epoxy Flooring for Manufacturing

Integer/Lake Region Medical is a medical products manufacturer in Trenton, GA. They use a lot of different chemicals, in particular solvents. They had been re-painting their manufacturing floors twice a year before seeking new options. We were called in to help solve this situation.

We got a listing of all the abrasive chemical solvents they used in manufacturing and did sample tests both in our shop and a 5'X5' sample on the production line. We exposed these samples to these solvents over six months in order to determine the durability of the chemical resistant epoxy system over time. The epoxy system we put together for them worked like a charm.

During the December shutdown CFCS installed 15,000 sq ft of this chemical resistant epoxy system and will continue to install more of this system over the next two years until they have coated the entire manufacturing area. This will save Integer/Regions Medical time and money over the life of the floor with very little touch-up necessary.
