This year marks a significant milestone for our family-owned business: we’re celebrating 10 years of delivering exceptional concrete polishing and coatings! When we started, the goal was pretty simple: to provide the highest quality concrete refinishing solutions while delivering exceptional customer service. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working on some incredible projects that have challenged and inspired us. Notable collaborations include projects for Erlanger Hospital, Volkswagen, Hotel Indigo, Kinley Hotel, PIE Center, Chattanooga National Guard Armory, and Hamilton County Jail. Each of these projects has not only showcased our skills but also reinforced our commitment to quality and excellence.

A Few Special Highlights

Looking back on the last ten years, some of our favorite projects were the ones needing the most problem-solving. We love being challenged, refining and expanding our services, and providing solutions. It’s what has catapulted us to the top of our industry, receiving national recognition for many of our projects, and collaborating with companies like Publix where our specs are now included in their pre-construction paperwork for all facilities. When it comes to problem-solving, here are a few of our favorites from the past decade:

Installing Coatings in Short Turnaround Time at Volkswagen

We were given 48 hours to remove a failing coating and install a white polyaspartic coating in a large manufacturing area of the plant. This area was only to be shut down for the time needed to redo the floors, install new equipment and get back online. We performed R&D in their warehouse to ensure this install could be performed safely, timely, and to the highest quality.

Chemical Resistance in Manufacturing at Integer

Integer was dealing with annual floor repaints because of harsh chemicals. We performed 4 mock-ups on site with the manufacturer to ensure the most quality and cost effective solution. After months of testing the right system was chosen and has been in place with no additional maintenance practices for 6 years.

Encapsulating a Concrete Slab to Prevent Water Leaking at Hotel Indigo

The outdoor patio had old, cracked concrete that leaked into the basement. We worked with the GC and hotel owners to create a solution that would last and encapsulate the concrete from leaking to the basement. A moisture vapor barrier system was installed with a decorative flake to give it color and fit the hotel’s design pallet. The hotel basement stays dry to this day.
