Tasked with leveling improperly installed concrete and applying industrial coating systems across the jail, office, check-in, and lobby areas, we knew this was a job that required precision, communication, and careful planning.

The Sheriff’s Office selected two distinct coating systems to meet the unique needs of their facility. For the office, check-in, and lobby areas, we installed a double broadcast quartz sand floor, chosen for its durability and polished appearance. For the jail cells, we applied dyed ceramic coatings, which offer both resilience and ease of maintenance.

One of the significant challenges we faced was working within the strict security measures of the jail. To ensure a smooth and efficient process, we communicated closely with county jail officials, planning every detail to minimize disruptions and maintain the integrity of the facility’s security. This proactive approach allowed us to overcome potential obstacles and stay on track.

Thanks to our meticulous preparation and coordination, we not only met the project’s deadline but finished nearly four days ahead of schedule. This allowed the jail to proceed with other necessary projects in the space, completing the renovations well before their planned move in date. The new floors, built to withstand heavy use, will serve the facility for many years to come, providing a solid, durable foundation that supports the critical work of the Sheriff’s Office.
