This is Chattanooga Floor Care: Meeting the Team

March 3rd was National Employee Appreciation Day and we would like to spotlight our incredible team. We believe the driving force behind any successful company is the staff and we are no exception. They take every project seriously, treating it as if it were their own space, and go above and beyond to ensure the project's success no matter what obstacles may come their way. 

Our team is composed of a total of nineteen employees, including owners Matt and Barry Jeffery, shown below, most with different backgrounds and very vital roles in the success of Chattanooga Floor Care.

Matt & Barry Jeffery, Owners

Barry has worked in the floor care field for over 35 years and is the head of sales at CFC, spending a good portion of his time in the field providing estimates and building relationships with clients. He’s always good for a fun story or laugh and his upbeat personality and charm make him one of the best at what he does.

Matt is multi-talented and joined CFC over seven years ago with a background in education. While he wears many hats for us, future projects and sales keep him busiest. Matt’s previous teaching experience gave him the skills to creatively solve problems in a timely fashion.

Management Team

Pictured here is our management team, from left to right: Stephanie, our office manager and the wearer of all hats, joined CFC in 2020 and brings over 15 years of administrative experience. As Office Manager, she creates and implements systems within the company and manages human resources, finances, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. 

Josiah, our production manager, came to us with a background in law enforcement and organizes production schedules and supports our technicians in the field by inventorying and staging supplies for each and every project.

Brad, the operations manager, joined CFC in 2016 and has brought a wealth of skills and leadership experience to the company. He builds operational policies and oversees scheduling, daily operations, and employee management. 

Matt, owner and CEO and of course our beloved Barry, owner and sales manager. 

Specialty Tech & Superintendents

In addition to management we have three superintendents and a specialty tech. Our superintendents lead the crews through projects, having all been promoted from within and starting as field techs, they offer vast knowledge and help our field technicians advance and learn, bringing experience and leadership that is invaluable.

Lead Estimator

Our commercial estimator, Blake, originally joined CFC in 2016, before transitioning into home rehab construction and then into cabinetry and custom closet building. He rejoined the CFC team in 2022 as an Estimator where he analyzes drawings and specifications and creates comprehensive cost estimates for a wide variety of concrete refinishing projects.

Sales Associate

Our sales associate, Zack, is new to the CFC team, joining us in 2023. Zack has a background in sales, service, and leadership, including a Fortune 500 company. His personable and outgoing personality along with his courteous demeanor and energetic attitude help provide him with the tools necessary to put clients at ease and provide a seamless experience.

Administrative Assistant

Our Administrative Assistant, Shayna, joined us in late 2022 after relocating to Chattanooga from the pacific northwest. She has over 15 years of administrative and operations experience across a broad range of fields including medical, home staging, and aviation. As the administrative assistant, she plays an integral role in the day to day operation of CFC.

Field Technicians

We also have several field technicians and they are a huge part of what we do and are able to accomplish. They put their all into each job, ensuring a result that keeps our clients coming back for all of their floor enhancement needs. Along with the superintendents, our field technicians are the ones out there getting their hands dirty, literally, each and every day and producing works of art.

Regardless of the position held, the entire team at Chattanooga Floor Care is vital to our continued success and growth. Without our entire team, we would not be who we are today and we give endless thanks to each and every one of them.
