Appalachian Bistro Elsie’s Daughter opened last fall in a previously hidden space of The Chattanooga Choo Choo. Housed within a beautifully restored 1908 building, the restaurant’s design is a tribute to history and familial ties. Read more about the namesake and deep-rooted history here and here.
"We wanted to create a space that's visually stunning and emotionally resonant," says Chloe Wright, one of the founders. "Elsie's Daughter is a tribute to the past while embracing the present – an experience that's simultaneously nostalgic and current, chic and casual."
Keeping this vision in mind, Chattanooga Floor Care was contracted by Tucker Build to refinish this 100 year old slab and provide a one-of-a-kind floor that tied in perfectly with the restaurant’s warm, sophisticated aesthetic.
We were honored to be part of this project and couldn’t be more pleased with the result!
